SB206 is the cognate to my HB73_Juvenile_and_domestic_relations_district_courts_petitions_for_relief_of_care_and_custody which passed this body on February 3rd on a vote to 98-0.

This bill is a recommendation from the Virginia Commission on Youth. The goal of this bill is to keep children out of foster care whenever possible and to encourage families that are struggling with their child, to cooperate with their local departments of social services to receive the needed services.
